简述选择“农村职业高中提高学生可持续发展意识与能力的实践研究”的背景
我校针对农村“中职生”?D?D初中升普高的落伍者，自卑心十分严重，这样一个特殊的教育群体，于2002年引进联合国教科文组织实施的EPD教育项目，紧紧围绕“培养人的主体精神和培养人的可持续发展思想”作为EPD教育项目的育人宗旨，并着手构建“主体研究、综合渗透”型课堂教学模式和“主体探究、合作体验”型环境教育、人口健康教育等活动模式的实验研究，取得了很大的成绩：
1、2003年12月我校由EPD项目成员学校晋升为EPD实验学校。
2、教育教学质量连续三年名列包头市同类职业学校之首，连续三年被命名为“高中教学工作先进单位”。
3、2003年以来，曹红永校长先后在北京可持续发展教育国际论坛、内蒙古自治区首届可持续发展教育研讨会上做了“可持续发展教育专题讲座”。
4、2005年11月，我校被中国EPD项目全国工作委员会秘书处表彰为“教育促进可持续发展创新奖”，曹红永校长获“教育促进可持续发展开拓奖”。
5、我校每年一次的地区性EPD现场会，曾引领相邻的白云区教育局、达茂旗教育局包头市部分中小学校负责人参观学习。扩大了EPD项目的影响范围。
可持续发展教育是我们将EPD教育项目推向深入的高层目标。我们相信通过对该课题的研究，必将促进农村“中等职业教育”的均衡发展，公平教育，必将促进每一个中职生具有可持续发展意识和能力。
Guyang Vocational High School in Baotou
Our school is characterized by its location which is in the rural area and its students who are obsessed with the feeling of inferiority because of the failure of examination. In 2002, we introduced the EPD UNESCO project . Based on the requirements of the EPD project, we have done a lot of research work and made great success.

5. The annual EPD meeting in our school has attracted many neighboring schools and in this way the influence of the EPD project has been expanded greatly in recent years.
Sustainable education is the final goal for the EPD project. We hold to the belief that the research work can not only promote the balanced education and fair education, but raise the students’ awareness of sustainable development so that they will have greater capacity for self-development than others.
