包头市第六中学

包头市第六中学创建于1956年，是昆都仑区建校最早、规模最大的一所完全中学，现分南北两个校区。经过近五十年的发展，现已成为一所环境优雅、秩序井然、师资雄厚、特色突出、教育教学质量较高的包头市优质重点中学。

学校占地面积98943.8平方米，建筑面积46400平方米，拥有三座教学楼、两座实验楼、一座图书楼、一座体育馆、两座学生公寓楼、一座学生餐厅。学校现有70个教学班，其中高中36个，初中34个，在校生近4000人，在岗教职工262人。

近年来，在上级有关部门及社会各界的关心支持下，六中人团结拚搏、勇于开拓，走出了一条特色鲜明、稳步提高的发展之路，学校先后北评为“国家教育部教育科研重点课题实验校”、“全国中华美德教育先进单位”、“全国科技创新优秀学校”、“中国青少年科普教育基地”、“全国1000所中小学基础教育名校”、“全国中学教育科研联合体常务理事学校”、“全国重点科研课题21世纪中国学校体育发展研究实验学校”、“自治区高中管理先进学校”、“自治区高中会考优秀学校”、“内蒙古教育科研规划重点课题教育技术实验学校”、“自治区现代化教育技术先进学校”、“包头市示范性普通高中”、“包头市高中教育教学成绩优秀学校”。去年，通过了自治区示范性普通高级中学评估，包头六中正昂首迈入自治区名校行列。

Baotou  No.6 Middle  School

Baotou No.6 Middle School was built in 1956.The school is made up of two parts, a junior  middle school and a senior high school, which are respectively located in the northern and southern Kun District.It covers an area of 98943.8 square metres and consists of three teaching buildings, two experiment buildings, one library, two students’ apartment buildings, one canteen and one gymnasium with various sports facilities. There are 34 classes in the junior middle school and 36 classes in the senior high school,  with a total number of 4,000 students studying at the school.

In recent years, the school has been in steady development. As a result it has been granted best titles as “Experimental School in Physical Training Research”, “Inner Mongolian Excellent School for Modern Education Technology”, “The Best sample for Senior High School in Baotou ”and “National Excellent High School for Technology Innovation”.

With its 50 years’ of development, it has become one of key senior school in Baotou, with its elegant environment, excellent teachers and effective management. We believe that No.6 Middle School will make further steps in future.
