包头市青山区赵家营小学

包头市青山区赵家营小学始建于1952年，位于城乡结合部，是包头市绿化标兵学校，包头市精神文明单位，自治区电化教育优秀学校，自治区义务教育示范校。

学校全面推进素质教育，不断提高教学质量，强化管理，以德树人，以质立校，以环境育人。教育教学质量不断提高。学校非常重视EPD工作，以“绿色学校”为载体，遵循生态教育内在规律强化生态环境道德教育，传播“绿色”科学知识，培养“绿色”思想品德，启迪“绿色”价值观念，养成绿色行为习惯，将环境、人口和可持续发展教育纳入教育教学的各项工作之中，节约和循环利用学校有限资源，争创文明学校，构建和谐校园。

运用课堂教学的主阵地加强可持续发展教育，课上学习课后延伸，并通过“小手拉大手”的方式把可持续发展教育工作延伸到家庭社会，带动家长及全社会广泛开展可持续发展教育工作。

Zhaojiaying Primary School in Baotou

Zhaojiaying Primary School was established in 1952. It is located in the union area of QingShan District and its suburban areas. The school has been granted the titles as “Inner Mongolian Best sample to conduct Compulsory Education”, “Inner Mongolian Excellent School in Audio-Visual Instruction”, “Baotou Green School”.

We carry on the education for all-around development comprehensively and enhance the quality and management of education .We try to get our students well developed morally, intellectually and physically. We attached great importance to the work of EPD. We carry on the environmental-friendly education centering on Building a “Green School”. We disseminate “Green” science knowledge to our students to raise their “Green” moral awareness. We inspire “Green” values and show what are “Green” behaviors.

We try to combine the conception of sustainable development, environmental protection and population control with classroom  teaching and moral education. Measures are taken to save energy and to develop renewable resources. The education for sustainable development  is also enhanced by getting parents involved. Therefore, the education can still go on after class with the help of the society and the parents.
